we have been learning to compare and contrast different celebrations.  My group researched information about holi.  Something I found interesting was that holi is a celebration that people throw colours in the air.  next we worked with another group and used a venn diagram to compare our celebrations.  Things that were the same were foods, friends and family, myths and legends.  My next step is to put more detail and information in the vennn diagram

I have been learning to add detail to my writing .  we had to imagine we were a soldier or a family member and write about this picture .  I used ... some of my 5 senses tomake my writeing more interesting. My next step is to use more of my 5 senses.

I have been learning to respond to a text using my prior knowledge and experience.  We read a story called 'happy birthday, school. I was able to make a connection in this text because elm park is having thier 50 jublee I found this easy cause I made some connections I next step is to make connections to the books I've read.
